WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?
I’m not 100% sure which area of nursing I want to be in, but I really feel called to be with moms and babies in the labor and delivery area. I would love to help bring new life into the world every day! I would also love working in the operating room!
NAME ONE OF YOUR ROLE MODELS AND BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THEIR INFLUENCE ON YOU.
Amy McGinnis has been an amazing support system and source of wisdom for me at Belmont. She has prayed for me, encouraged me and spoken so much truth to me during some of my toughest times in life.
WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?
I think some people definitely know this about me, but I love being able to speak Spanish!
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR LEGACY TO BE AT BELMONT?
I want to leave this school and my team a better place than how I found it. I want people to remember me not for what I did or did not accomplish, but for who I am and for who I live—Jesus Christ. I would love to see our team as a whole pursue Jesus together in whatever way that may look like.
IF YOUR TEAMMATES DESCRIBED YOU IN ONE WORD WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Joyful! I want my teammates to remember the joy I have found in the Lord and the hope I have in Him. The joy I have is also a reflection of my gratitude for everything He has blessed me with during my time at Belmont.
WHAT LED YOU TO BELMONT?
I had so many different things I wanted in a school. Belmont was literally the only school that checked off everything on my list for a “dream” school. Belmont was one of the few places where I would be allowed to pursue my passion in nursing and in golf. Many schools do not allow for this opportunity. I felt peace when I walked onto campus and felt like the Lord was calling me to Nashville, particularly Belmont, for whatever purpose that may be. I remember I immediately loved my future teammates, coaches and professors who all welcomed me to campus the first time I visited.
