Akia, VolleyballWHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT AS A BELMONT STUDENT-ATHLETE THUS FAR? 

My most memorable athletic moment at Belmont is when we hosted Iowa this past fall season and had the largest crowd I have ever seen at our game! Also, when we beat the top team in the conference (Austin Peay).

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AT BELMONT HELPED YOU GROW AS A PERSON?

My experience at Belmont has helped me grow as a person by giving me the opportunity to meet
so many different people from so many different places with different values. It is so amazing to get to learn more about the world around me, and the people who live in it, through a community that is passionate about what they do—staff who are passionate about their jobs, Professors who are passionate about what they teach, and students who are eager to learn. This has all enabled me to earn new levels of respect for different professions and learn how to work with people who are very different from me.
